a little about me.
i am a skilled nonprofit fundraising consultant with expertise in prospect research, development communication, donor stewardship, and major gifts strategy. by my estimations, over the course of my career, i have influenced $60M+ in philanthropic revenue.
i started my career in Omaha at the University of Nebraska Foundation, where i learned the gold standards of prospect research and pipeline development. as a consultant, i’m able to share the tools and techniques i’ve learned from my time in higher ed with organizations that are just starting to build fundraising programs or looking to level-up their major gifts work.
my work has supported fantastic organizations including The Trevor Project, Fòs Feminista, the Barack Obama Foundation, Kids in Need of Defense (KIND), Boston Women’s Foundation, Women’s International League for Peace & Freedom, United Way of Rhode Island, Legal Momentum, and many more. i work primarily with organizations whose missions are rooted in collective care, justice, and equity for all people and for the planet.
i hold a BA from North Carolina State University (go Pack!) and a Master’s in Nonprofit Management & Leadership for the University of Georgia. originally from Richmond, Virginia lived in 5 states over the past 10 years and most recently landed in Des Moines, Iowa. outside of work, i spend my free time with my husband, Sam, and our two cats, Franklin and Cece.
my current obsessions include: exploring ancestry.com, planning a spring trip to Ireland, painting florals, and strength training. upon writing this i realized i don’t have many pictures of myself that aren’t at friends’ weddings, college football games, or vacation. working on more professional-ish selfies so you can see my face!
